Another Victim of smart pricing I guess

2 days ago, I had $ 1 average CPC and now have only $ 0.30 . I changed the content slightly, but the topic is same.

what do you think guys? is it because of smart pricing?

If Google keeps punishing only publishers for less conversion, one day they will lose their network. Advertisers themselves must do something for conversion as well! I see some of the advertisers' websites, which are not that professional enough to motivate visitors to buy smt...!

You are not alone whatsense. I've been hitted by smart pricing almost a year. To combat this is to have more visitors. The more visitors you have, the higher chance they clicks on the ads. And the more ads being clicks, you earn more. Logical enough?

well i thought I was smart priced during the weekend too ! My average cpc before the weekend was 0,70 $ and during the weekend it was 0,20 $ ....
But since monday everything is back to normal. If I was smart priced it would take at least a week to come back to normal....

So i guess I just run out of the goods ads (and the advertizers "bought" some new at monday) or something.Maybe the same thing happened to you

I've been getting cheap clicks since the weekend as well. Maybe the smart pricing hammer has finally hit :(

Its going to turn into the 'lose publishers pricing' pretty soon when yahoo and msn get their systems going.

I changed the content to more general mortgage than self certified mortgage text. So maybe thats the reason, but when I check general mortgage bids at yahoo I c the bids are around $ 3-5 even more.

Download the adsense preview tool, check what ads are showing then block all the MFA sites. That should help a little.

Give it a week. If the average CPC remains the same over that period, then yes, you've been smartpriced.
