Another site opened that wipe out my business

    This is my story:

    My site is for my school, and I really make some money on it. Before my site was opened, there was another site that has the same features as my site do now. But for some reason, they closed it for like 3 months.
    That's why I opened my site.

    It's been really good, because it was only opened 1 month, with more than 500 members and more than 5000 page impression everyday.
    However, just a day ago, that old site re-open and that lower my Impression View by half. (actually, more than half)
    The main reason is because that website has more members than my site has now. Its members is like 2000 something.

    What do you think I should do in order to make my site more popular than that site I was talking about?

    What should I do to get more people to my forum instead of that site?

    any suggestion would be appreciated ;)

    It's called businness. There must be some reason they are more populer! Do marketing. Get indexed in search engines, and web pages, if it's a site that people will link to.

    Acquire the other site. Or outperform and create unique selling points that makes it a no-brainer for members who to choose.
