Another Reason Why Ezine Is Nuts!

Recently, when I was surfing through the articles on Ezine, I've stumbled upon this one > http://ezinearticles.[com]/?How-to-Download-Mp3-to-Psp-in-3-Quick-Steps&id=642298

    (remove the brackets from "com")

Now look at that massive anchor text. Have you ever seen anything like that?

Apart from 2 long sentences being a link, there are actually 3 links in the resource box, which is not allowed.

Probably the reviewer of that article was not only drunk, but also took some cocaine, before reviewing the article....

Well, it is an article from a year ago, but one of their rules is about excessive text in links, which I recently had an article rejected for. And no, it didn't stretch for lines and lines like that.

There's a couple of things about that article that are against EZineArticle's rules now but at the time it was submitted were not.

    1. 3 links
    2. linking to download sites. (all my recent attempts to do this they've shot down and said it's against their rules but they used to let me do it with no problem.)

As far as the crazy long links, I imagine that must have been against the rules back then too - but was just overlooked by a lazy article reviewer.

So they finally decided to completely ban all downloads products?

I love that niche, and I was going to do some mass promotion...

The answer: The rules which were on July 2007 didn't include the rules that are applied today:
    -3 words in anchor text
-only 2 links in the resource.

I am 100% sure that this is the answer.I used that method on anchor text ( link all the resource text) and it got a good CTR, up to 50-60%.
