I purchased 3 text links from this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=342999 where the seller proudly mention of his PR6 site. And when I checked his site yesterday, there are nofollow status on all links there including 3 of them are mine. I sent this member a pm first requesting an explanation, perhap he made a mistake. And to piss me off, here is the answer I believe few directory owners here purchased text links from him too and some of them on long term.
I have search status installed and I usually check before I purchase... (shows up as a pink colored link) http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/ Of course if they add the nofollow after the link was added, then they are a dik! Oops, sorry for being blunt... damn that beer talk edit: Oddly enough, I see the nofollow in the page source but its not highlighted pink... weird...
Time for the QBC Doctor to carry out an internal examination http://www.quickbuckcrew.com/ This sucks and needs stopping
1 of my link expired today, and other 2 expire on July 7th. With that kind of attitude, I don't think he will give a refund.
Go here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/ Scroll down to the bottom of the page... All of the users currently online shoule be highlighted pink. It means there is a nofollow tag there. If you dont see it, right click on the search status icon in the toolbar and select "Highlight Nofollow Links" and refresh the page. You should see all the user names in pink.
I already asked, and here is the answer When I check google cache, all links are follow on June 18th, so meaning that he just changed it. If the links is nofollow when I purchased it, I should know.
As you can see he sure used his Page Rank as a main selling point, what is the big deal about his page rank if he is using no follows so you can't pass it on. And what stupid reference is he making to adsense not allowing it? Plus he obviously thinks there is such think as PR leakage. All around this person is a few watts short.
You guys that have bought a link realy should consider submitting the appropriate iTrader. I don't care how many times you post a warning in the thread, there are those so desparate for a friggin link they'll ignore your warnings. Negative iTrader sems to have more of an impact and will warn others later on down the road.
Hey, he got me too..... I think I had left him iTrader already. What can we do about this guy so he doesn't do this again? Anybody got a plan of action? A bunch of negative posts won't fix the problem, that is for sure..
This really sucks..... thanks for sharing information. I think you should give him negative iTrader & also this person should list on QBC.
