They just suspended my account for NON-ENGLISH websites. Of course all my sites having WIDGETSUCKS are in ENGLISH! I have 9 refferals and about $80 in my account.
Ouch that sucks. How do they figure your sites are non english? Maybe shoot them a quick email... Good Luck Jason maybe you should change your sig link too....haha
Remove the ads on your site and go with adsense or adbrite and your sig link is supporting widget.. You would think you wouldnt want to advertise for a scam company if it really was.... just my .02
man I used WB, then got 25 $ eanring + 25$ signup bonus = 50$, now as I reached minimum payout limit i removed WB ads and put google adsense. adsense pays me 0.66$ per click, better than WB.
I've been reading Widgetbucks and similar threads for too long now, I've got to break out. There is no such thing as easy money, and crazy money only comes with hard work. Many Publishers have a misconception that all they need to do is put up some code on a website to make money. This is far from the truth. While I don't understand what Widgetbucks are doing, I do understand one thing. Many Publishers have abandoned respectful, honest, proven, established networks to try for the "crazy" money. Sorry, but it's not that simple. The Publishers who are the most successful are those who spend time on their websites, content, ad placement, marketing, careful watch on pricing etc. One look at the top 10 AdToll.com Publishers and you can see that. There are many more in the Directory that are good examples as well and I'm sure there are examples on other networks. A few things to look for when looking at networks: 1. Are their payments reliable? Have they paid? What are their commissions? 2. Is the website well edited? Is the content up to date? Is there content? 3. Ease of use? Long waiting periods? Service? No point in sending an email to wait half a week for a response. 4. Are the ToS comprehensive? If they are not, clearly not enough thought has gone into it. 5. Network features? Do they suite you? 6. Is the website complete? It should be. I could go on.
