Another PR Update Roll-Out?

    Hi,

    Since the last google update, My pageramk went up by one to page rank 3.

    Today I checked and my page rank went to 2?


    I thought PR update only happens when it updates?


    I haven't been blogging recently, could that be the reason?

    in first update of Google PR my website was goes down to 0 from 4...after i made many backlinks now after another update Google again awarded me pr of 3...so i would to suggest you to make more and more quality backlinks...

    There are minor updates too which are not official, but still they are updates.

    So your site might be a victim to minor update.

    And there have been a lot of minor updates in July, because Google really screwed the system up.

    Well, not blogging just might be the cause of the decline in the standings. I stopped blogging for my blog last year to create a new Web site this year, and saw that my blog went to PR 3 PR 0

    Google has been glitchy lately. Their own Page Rank when from 10 to 9 as you can see. They also changed their homepage drastically as of the last couple months. I am sure this dilemma will come and go eventually so do not worry.

    in june 27th update ,my site PR went up by one from 4 to 5 . But yesterday it went back to 4 . All backlinks ,content and code are stay the same . So what is the reason ?

    There are times when the page rank goes down. One factor is you're not getting enough traffic. Other is your blog is not regularly updated.

    Be patient . Wait for some time for complete update.Meantime concentrate on increasing the website/blog quality and try to build some quality links

    There was a tweak to the June PR update. Some sites that got an upgrade were rolled back. I guess you have to wait until later this year to see how your PR is.

    there has been google updates recently in June and July. You need quality backlinks for sure. And yes continuous update of website is advised.
