Another PR 3 Directory - Testing a New Mod - Limited # of Free Links

I am testing a new mod that allows X# of free links per day (1 per email and ip), please submit and let me know if there are any bugs you encounter.

Went to try and put on a link but it is saying that:

"March 27, 2007 :: 0 free links left today :: 11 pending free links"

If that is what you wanted it is working fine.

Didn't get in quick enough today but will try tomorrow for the freebee !!!! $4.99 is a bit steep for me for a PR0 page.

Is it our tomorrow or your tomorrow I should try. Is it at 00001 hrs EST it resorts to 0 :}

 

I should probably add a timer of some sort, I will increase the free link limit so there are more available today.

The directory just got it's first PR last update so hopefully this update it will start to get PR on internal pages.

Yes a timer or something may be good but the only problem is that us "limeys" are up before the US and could snaffle (steal) all that days freebies.

submitted one. It seems this mod? is working properly.

Upon submission, I read "1 free links left today :: 20 pending free links", then I tried to submit another, and it said "We are sorry, but the maximum free links for today has been reached. Please try tomorrow, or use the featured links."

glengall1 yes that is one of the reasons I did not do it from the beginning

coolsitez this mod has tons of potential for directory owners because it helps breakdown the barrier between all the traffic FREE directories get and all the MONEY paid directories can make
.

 

I guess this may encourage people to keep coming back. A must-have mod for free dirs then.

 

Will you be adding any new categories? If so, could you add classifieds?

Seems to work, on second and third try

Ok how do I get this MOD?

Also It should say why there was an error

 

Allowed me to submit my directory ...

On second submit got an error message ... "An error occured while saving the link." ... but no explanation.

Is this because of duplicate IP for second submit?

 

Everything worked fine for me.

Submitted my good-health-tips.info blog and the message I got after submission was:

March 31, 2007 :: 10 free links left today :: 64 pending free links

EDIT: OK, I finally made it. That was a hard one

 

Sorry about the captcha, I will eventually be upgrading all my directories to version 3.1 and it has a much better captcha(I have all the liscene purchased already).
