ok, so changing site info daily is good... but I am just curious how you all are changing the info on all your pages daily? I mean the se's see each page as an individual unit... so wouldn't I have to change each page every day? How the heck is that possible? Lets say you have a site with 25 pages of content... how are you supposed to change that so often? and how can you come up with new content for so many pages all the time?
    ahhhhh:confused:

have an area of the site that is more like a master file

for example, i have a footer, that if i edit, it edits across the whole site, so if i edit footer content, all pages are updated

Not if you hand coded each web page. I believe AngelusC was talking about Web Templates.

You keep your site fresh by adding new content eg new articles, pages. Not nescessarily updating little elements on your site.

but on the other hand, little elements can be enough.

I know that big SEO companies which are using software to create and maintain landing pages, often just alter pixels to the site just to trigger the crawlers that the page has been changed..
