well, what is the reason you want high pr?
If you are building a site for PR ( selling links on it), then you are on the right track.

If traffic/sells is what you are building the site for, then forget about pr.

Paying for an seo expert and having just PR 1 on the first update?... I don't think you are doing the right thing here...

PR1 isnt bad at all for a site that is 2 months old.

And to the OP - you shouldnt worry too much about PR value. PR and traffic are not neccesarily related. Just do a search and then look at the PR values of the top 10 or 20 results - you will see that they are not in any order and you will often see PR0 pages listed higher than PR5 or whatever.

You need to build your links in ways that will generate traffic instead of trying to manipulate your PR.

Would you rather have a relevant link on a high traffic PR1 site or a link on a PR6 that is not relevant and doesnt get much traffic? Always go for traffic and let the PR worry about itself.

    You pay for pr 1.

That is hilarious. Your SEO guy isn't that good. You could do better if you would just do it yourself. Try to post more each day. SEO has a lot to do with getting back links.

Salvia, eh? PM me your URL, I wouldn't mind checking your site out.

Unless of course it's a thinly veiled affiliate scheme...
