Hey guys. I keep a pinball blog which I'm generally happy with, but when I look at links TO me in webmaster tools I can see HUNDREDS from the same blogs. I get indexed on the main page, then the unique URL and then in the archives. My question is, if stuff I link to is bleeding links in a similar fashion, am I better off changing to a NoFollow blog? (and if so how do I do it on a blogspot blog) Cheers
Yes you may lose a small amount of PR that could instead be spread to your other internal pages. So it may be a good idea to make external links nofollow. There probably is a way to automatically turn outgoing links to nofollow with blogspot, but I don't personally use blogspot anymore. You could just manually edit any external links and add rel="nofollow" so the link looks like <a href="...." rel="nofollow">. As a minimum you should be able to set comments to automatically be nofollow. That would limit the spam comments you get too.
It is up to you. But you should change to link attribute to nofollow and it leaked the PR of your webpage.
