Does anyone have cj contact info besides the 800 number. I am owed over $5000 for the month by an advertiser but the advertiser has a zero balance. Cj will not give me any information other then its in the fine print. No response from the company either which is located out of the country.

Is there anything I can do or am I screwed? Cj seems to have a small office in cali with about 10 people working in it.

    Any Inforamtion would be helpful...

Ok sent the software to those who asked.

@tj123 & Jmelio1999 - I have never had this happen to me. In fact CJ keeps a buffer balance from advertiser so that it can pay it's publishers (affs). CJ is huge company and not sure why you are saying it's a company of 10. I hope you are referring to Commission Junction.

ok sent to all those who asked.

@cashpoint Yes the first challenge is to get accepted into the networks. It's harder for CPA as compared to CPS. For CPA networks I always do one of the 2 things.. (1) Buy a domain making my name and address public so that the affiliate manager can see it in whois, then use that for either general affiliate marketing or for a particular niche (2) In the remarks mention that I have an email list that I promote to and this email list has been created by me promoting products from other networks.

I wouldn't know how PPC work, I have never used it before. I thought it was very expensive to use. I priced my key word once and it cost to much per click, but if I could make only half of that, it would be worth it.

I wanted you to be right but I was told that there is no buffer balance...

Commission Junction cannot issue payments from advertisers unless the advertiser has adequately funded their account, as stated in the Publisher Service Agreement (http://www.cj.com/psa.html).

PSA Section 3(e) states: “CJ shall have no obligation to make payment of any Payouts for which CJ has not received payment from the relevant Advertiser of all monies due to CJ (including for all Payouts owed by such Advertiser to all of such Advertiser's Publishers).”

This might be a little off topic but why does your website traffic fluctuate so badly?

    I mean you're now standing at 100K alexa the next week it's 20K ..

    Is it PTC traffic?

@weeze yeah that's right it's expensive for keywords that are short-tail or are overly competitive. That's why you have to pick the ones that have demand but rightly priced. So the combination of correct offer and well researched keywords make ppc easy to make money.

@tj123 I would say move on, yes that's sad that you got a crappy advertiser but look for someone who's been there several years with decent EPC.
