To those with brains in the world, this wont be much of a surprise. To the liberals.. well.. it's status quo.

Will the retard left EVER get a grip on reality? This "entitlement" mentality needs to be stopped.

Unfortunately with the media slanted HEAVILY to the left they will probably spin it that he was drugged some how, put him in rehab and welcome him back with open arms... I still can see the look on Mike myers face after his last tirade :D

The fact that you even follow the RAP genre is enough to tell me you are wasting my time.

Why did I click that link?

uhh, I don't. Rap is liberal music. I do read though.. and the news..has lots of words to read.

I know you are too old for the "No child left behind" act to have benefitted you.. but me, I wasn't a liberal and therefore learned the joys of reading.

Artists like him make me want to vomit up my own heart and jump up and down on it until I get his over-marketed image out of my mind.

He reminds me a lot of that too pack shacker guy... What a putz... There are so many better rap artists out there. 50 cent, Ludicrous, Eminem, Nelly... What a freakoid!

These awards shows are jokes anyway. I remember that one awards show where they gave Guns n' Roses an award for best hard rock album or something to that affect. Slash gets up there all drunk and says, "Its about f$#kin' time, I mean this album came out like 3 years ago.." Loose quote from memory btw.

Anyway, now-a-days the people getting best hard rock or heavy metal are people like U2 or Green Day, neither of which fits into either genre. The awards shows are jokes.

Yep the awards shows are just examples of an industry patting itself on the back.

I have to say I loved tupac, the best lyricist ever. But thats an argument we won't bother getting in to.

    Hu..wah..what??

Well, I like 14th century pilgrimage chants, arcadian music, and others, and find West's tirades the rantings of a putz.

OMG, he insulted me! OMG the sky is falling because other people have original thoughts and won't follow his prepared rhetoric. Those two points alone speak volumes about what you have, or worse, have not gotten out of an education. Like being able to win a debate without resorting to personal insults for starters.

You want to fall in line with the rhetoric of so called conservatives, yet they are the furthest thing from conservative seen in 50 years.

Maybe you should know what cool aid you are drinking before you swollow next time. Look where swollowing got Mark Foley.

It kinda makes you wonder if the fix was in, and he was told he was gonna win, then he did not and blew up?

Lyricist maybe, but performer, singer? He left a lot to be desired in a lot of areas. Hey, wanna became a famous rap star? Get shot, or killed. Didn't that happen on "Sopranos"?

F*ck MTV and f*ck their awards.
I only judge music by what I hear on their albums. 2pac was a top rapper and he had the best albums with excellent production.

I was young when I used to listen to hip hop, the last hip hop album I listened to is Back For The First Time by Luda. Things have gone too commercial since then.

The media corporates have raped hip hop.

MTV commercialized music, therefore making women dominate the interest in shows e.g TRL. The average chick doesn't have good taste in music [refer to TRL]. That's why we had the hair/fashion/makeup male bitch bands in the 80's, and why we have Emo groups now. Commercialization of music means feminization of music.

    Blahhhh.

The only thing I really like that revolves around rap (but not created by it), is turntablism.

What does Kanye West's actions have to do with liberals or status quo or anything? Very confused by the tread title.

He acted like a baby and the media decided to write about it. He was the guy next to Mike Myers during Katrina right?

I dunno about tupac's music at all.. not even sure I even ever heard a song of his.. but I saw a movie with him in it with James Belushi and he could act. I actually enjoyed his charactor alot as well as his (apparent) demeanor.
