Here is yet ANOTHER example of images next to ads, with a barely perceptible seperation between the image and the actual Adsense ad.

Pretty clever, or are they in line for an email from Big G?

Not sure if the white space constitutes a "border"??

One of the pictures I saw was animated - cutting it very close, I'd say.
On the other hand, I've always felt that the TOS was only suggesting that borders should be added...

There is no problem there, yet another example of good ad blending.

Oh, I had adblock on >.<

That site opens a pop-up window, so they're not allowed to have AdSense anyway.

First time I have seen someone use an animated image next to the ads. IF google is ok with it, might be even better if there was some kind of actual content box on top that has the same look as the ad blocks, to further blend it. Will be interesting to see how Google reacts as more and more people test the borders of the TOS (silly pun intended lol).

    Violations:

    1) It's drawing unneeded attention to the ads with the moving images.
    2) It's labeled with images with no border
    3) The website has a pop up.
    4) Modifing the script extensively.

Is there a mention about having to have some kind of border? I thought that was just a suggestion but never saw anything saying there had to be a visible seperation. I assume it's true but wonder if there is any specific working in the TOS about it.

I think it's classed as labeling ads. "Don't label your ads with anything except 'Advertisements' and 'Sponsors'" sort of thing.

I think only the pop up constitutes a violation of TOS. Otherwise, I liked very much the ad blending.. It even gives me some ideas to add to my desing :D
