Hey All, Most of you will have seen me asking how much my "Vendor" Site is worth. This will be the last question regarding clickbank sites! I have a site selling a "how to build a chicken coop" e-book which has done well. I have had it since May, but have the stats since Feb. Here are a breakdown of the sales from Feb onwards. $60, $100, $200, $320, $260, $121 (as of 23rd) As you can see it fluctuates a great deal. The first two months it was creeping up the SE rankings a lot, and it now sits nicely for alot of terms, in the top 10 for many of the key ones. A bit of SEO work to get some of the #5 spots to #3 or higher would make a great deal of difference. I have experience of this niche with two other sites, both of which performed well, which is why I purchased this. Obviously there is only 6 months revenue proof, but it has VERY strong SE rankings/traffic and has been a steady earner. What should I be holding out for on this site based on its $176/pm average revenue (with over a week left in July). Thanks
So most of the revenue comes from direct sales and not affiliates? I'd probably say between $2000-3000 for the website and product - maybe a little more depending on the quality of the ebook itself.
@GrantDraper If it's an affiliate site, then it's estimated at x 10 months of revenue. (if it's already generating sales for at least 12 months) Otherwise it would be worth a bit less. An affiliate site without any revenue isn't worth that much.
I always see these posts and the answer is always teh same: The site is only worth what people are willing to pay. Forget all the bullcrap about it being a CB product, etc - it's hard numbers that count, and $100/month will likely bag you a $1200-$1500 sale maximum. If you want to get more for the site, then you should work on improving revenue.
