    Hi All:

I have had my websites hosted by www.ms11.net for almost a year and was very satisfied with how they set up their stats. Now I find they have made a major change and am very disappointed with it. They used to show which search engines spidered my sites and when - also which SEs my visitors came from. Not any more!

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced host that provides this information in their stats?

    Cordially,

Why don't you install such a script yourself? There are plenty of scripts available for free that do the same thing.

It would be kinda hard to do for HTML-pages, but for PHP-pages and such it's quite easy.

With the HTML it would be just as easy...

    http://www.statcounter.com/

It's really straight forward and the results are OK.

Alternativly, you could download the raw logs and feed them to something like AWstats...

Are they any other raw log readers SE? I read about AWstats and it sounded a right pain to set up.

Instead I just crawl through my log..

    I use www.onestat.com

I have some really comphrensive server side log analysers set up on my servers so don't really have much need to analyse the raw logs (And if I do, I'll normally do it by hand)...

I'll ask some of the guys at work If they know anything good...
