Another Google Update Happening - My PR gone down again

Yes, and probably for awhile.

 

1. PageRank dropped for other sites. But google's pagerank did not dropped.
2. Not all sites lost pagerank. Some network lost pagerank. Like some authority sites, famous blogs, heavily interlinked sites, interlinked to own network sites etc..
3. Some suspect that pagerank manually edited by google.
4. Till now, no one did not complained about losing traffic by this PR drop.
5. Is it a penalty or PR adjustment?
6. If people have the courage to resist this PR drop, what will google do?
7. If link selling is the problem, then buying link from adwords (google) is OK?
8. What about yahoo? Google will not penalize or drop them....
9. Some sites with no content, no backlinks are still at PR5 or PR6.
10. All these problems happened because we are using their free "Google Analytics"?

OMG another PR thread... Seriously do we really need 20 new ones when ever a user notices PR changes ????

 

PR has lost relavence ,google has started working on it by improving their algorithms for making PR more relavent,I apperciate google for this.

My site's PR increased from 0 to 3!

 

Congrats Man!! . My site dropped from 5 to 4 then dropped to 3. I am waiting for PR 0 anytime...

 

Utterly shocked! My three PR5 suddenly become PR2 or PR1. Woohoo.. thanks Google.

 

This is what people get for spending $1,000+ for one link from those big bidding directories and stuff.. it makes me laugh really... although every site I own with a PR5 went down to PR4 and my pr6 went to PR3... it's not that funny anymore!

 

I've seen 1 of my websites dropping from 5 to 3 and now to 2 in less than 1 week...

 

How many backlinks u have?

 

My site dropped from 5 to 3 .
but the other one moved from 0 to 3 !!

Im surprised by the amount of people that have lost PR here -

perhaps this is indicative of a few things:

1) those complaining bought links to enhance PR
2) google is actually doing a good job of filtering paid links, at least a lot better than we expected.
3) webmasters who value PR are bothered by this phenomena and are therefore posting here
4) paid links are becoming worthless....

All of my sites have gained PR in this dance, some from 1's or 2's to 4's and 5's, other new sites have come straight in at a 4 or 5, and not one (of 12) sites has lost any PR.

I personally don't place much credence on PR, which is why I dont buy links - I do have plenty of linkbacks from relevant sites, but thats only because I provide real relevant content.

Perhaps if more people thought like this then google wouldnt have to change their formula's to beat those that manipulate the systems!!

 

I just dont know where to start with correcting your post.....

..... if people have the courage to resist this drop??? (I hereby "disallow" google to interfere with my PR - I think it should be at least an 8.... lmao...)

...... and what about yahoo. are you saying that google might have penalised their site? that would be highly amusing in the news....

...... and what exactly has happened because we use google analytics? what are you tryin to say here, that people that use GA get penalised??? I somehow dont think that would be the case!

 

I started my blogs few months back. Now this is the first PR update and got PR from 0 to ... guess how much? OR watch it for yourself and tell me how much they have got at your end.
