Google FTW. Everything else fails

 

Well i dont think that google is unbeatable. They have to keep on fighting and buying the competitors with their unlimited budget to be the number one. Heres a interesting idea from their competitors - SETI-like Search( majestic12.co.uk ). They use other ppl's computers for the crawler. It can get really huge without big investments on the servers and badwidth. But google isnt unbeatable. Its has just grown so big like a cancer that it takes time to beat.. But it can crush you at the same time.
Google really depends on its search engine. Without it they wont have that huge revenue from the adwords. Its the main source of their traffic.. Maybe even their achilles heel!

Exactly. But i think theres a little bit of luck involved aswell. Every time the opponent gets bigger and badder. And the force needed to get the speed up on the success highway has to be much greater than before. There are lot of people out there trying exactly that.. Cant even tell whos succeeding right now

 

I think Google is the only search engine playing their cards correctly at the moment. It wont be long until they dominate other markets besides search.
