Another Google Indexing Issue

    Hi
    One of my site is : www.adruniverse.com

    Google's Webmaster tools says:

    Sitemap stats:
    Total URLs: 148
    Indexed URLs: 1

    Last Downloaded - Aug 27, 2008
    URLs submitted - 148

    I am not able to understand why only one pages i indexed in Google and not the other 147?. I had moved this site from blogger to my own domain a few months ago. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong.

    How long has it been. They sometime take months to index new pages beyond the homepage

    I find that the stats between the webmastertool page and a straight site: query often differ. Try it with both the www and without straight into google and see what shows up.

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

    itliberty- The site has been up for more than 4 months now.But during that time it was hacked and it took me a while to fix it.Also the blog was originally in blogger and then I moved to its own domain.So its been a mess since that time.Hopefully Google will fix the issues and correct index my pages soon.

    gbh1935 - I did that.There is a difference for me too.But Google webmaster shows this now:
    Sitemap stats
    Total URLs: 148
    Indexed URLs: 16

    So seems like slowly my pages are getting indexed.I will wait.

    Fancier - Your guess is right.I just need to have patience.:)

    Overall I need to put more related posts on my newer posts.That helps with google. It indexes more old pages that way. I will you guys updated on this issue.

    I have the same problem, and itliberty is right, google takes its time to index. Every week a bit more are indexed, and I don't have a very big site! I wonder what happens with tens of thousands of links!!!
