A buddy of mine is in the process of setting up a nice free blog service: 1.) The ability to create your own blog on your own subdomain. 2.) Choose from over 60 customised themes (adding more everyday). 3.) A range of theme editing options, from customised sidebars, to basic color alterations, to re-writing the CSS file itself. 4.) Easy access to blog editing tools, that enable you to write and submit articles to your blog without ever logging in. 5.) The easiest way to write about what you love, and display it to the widest audience out there - the world wide web! 6.) The ability to add adsense to your blog, no sharing involved, all click-thru profits go to you. Heck - you can never have TOO many blogs, right? Go get yet another over at http://www.oioblogger.com/
More from the perspective of having a nice portfolio of blogs from various IPs to help diversify. So, you got your Blogger account - your WordPress.com account - your xyz.com account - this is yet another free blog service.
However - if you are looking for some distinct "difference" in a service - what would it be? I can pass it on to the owner.
Is this site really your buddy's? I dont care either way...just seems like it is yours not your buddy's.
Free Blogging! I think it's cool. Good work mate And you don't need to have extra features than blogspot and all to come up. Free blogging anywhere is equal. Just though that bloggers have a PR 10
Actually it's mine. Eric was just kind enough to put a thread up here for me, as this is one of his regular haunts, and as you can see by my post count, not mine. Still working on the site, WPMU is a little harder to hit the sweet-spot with than its older brother, Wordpress. Absolutely nothing...yet. Give me some time, the first priority is to make sure functionality is at 100%.
Yep, Wordpress Multi User edition, it's just about to hit v1.0 (mine's built off rc4). I keep a link to Wordpress on all themes used on the site (other than the main pages). As soon as you enter the admin backend, you'll have that familiar Wordpress feeling spring forth.
glad to hear that. Is a good looking site but would really benefit by having something unique that other blog services dont offer. Good luck with the site.
