I'm taking orders for the new year now. All orders placed from now until December 31 will begin in January and will be prioritised on a first come, first serve basis.
People - It's stated in my profile here but I'll say it again - I am in Australia. My time zone is vastly different to most of you.... if you place an order during your day time, there is a fair chance it is the middle of the night here. I will get to it, do not fret. Please take note of that before sending me PM's/emails asking where your invoice is - consider that I was asleep when you made the order. Example: 4am Sydney Time December 7 = 11am US Central Time December 6 I dont know about you, but I'm asleep at 4am, not sending out invoices. Thank you.
No, it was a general message. I actually had several people say the exact same thing over the last 24 hours
Hey, Forumbulge, I'm kinda worried about one thing. If I ordered the Big Package, some members would get used to the members posting for pay. What are the chances of some of the writers posting every once in a while after that. I'd hate for the members to find out, it seems that after they left, a few people would not come back if a mass of members just left one day. How have you countered this? Thanks in Advance. Odublar
What is up with Forum Posting Services and Australia. I think Morgan is in Australia too. Why do Australians like posting so much? Does it have anything to do with Koala bears? Odublar, I am not going to speak for Forumbulge or his service, I will just give you some advice in a general sense. Forum posting services should be used as a tool to prime the pump. In good circumstances you should already have a decent volume of traffic that has just not become active. If you have no traffic and pay people to post on your forum, the likely result is a month after they stop posting you have a forum with no posts in the last month. I think the best way to use these services is in conjunction with other methods to get the ball rolling. I would not hold out any expectation that any of the forum posters you paid for would remain on your forums and continue to post, except in rare circumstances.
haha, I don't know if Morgan is Australian. Koala's and forum posting may have a direct relation - perhaps you can look into that? The truth is us Aussie's just hate working "real jobs" And obviously our excellent command of the English language naturally lends itself to this type of work As for what happens to a forum once paid posts are complete, aeiouy got it about right. One of the hardest things I have encountered from this job, is when someone gives me a forum with no activity whatsoever on it. There is no problem making the forum active in this situation, however I do wonder what happens once I leave. If people still need activity once the initial agreement is completed, I suggest they purchase more posts and spread them over a longer period of time, and request 4-5 posts to be made a day. When thinking of hiring a posting service, from my experience, you should consider the following: 1) Your forum should have some active members already, even if it is just yourself. 2) If you have no active members, consider hiring 2 posting services at once, to interact with one another. This also gives you a chance to compare the two. 3) As above, if you need continued activity, purchase posts over a longer term. 4) Something important that I find does not happen on 90% of my forums which I find very surprising - and that is Admin interaction. Alot of people put up a forum and expect the users to run the show. From my experiences doing this over the last few months, the most successful forums are the ones where the Admin interacts on a daily basis with the members - this is vital but something I just don't see happening too often. Those are a few things forum owners should keep in mind. I should have put that on my site first before posting here, but what the hell
It's what we do We purchase from Forumbulge 100 posts every 2 weeks and spread over the 2 weeks. We also use another service to post. So there is not break into the posting. Later when we will have enough of natural members, we will drop the paid posting. Forumbulge does a great job at it and we are quite happy with how things are going.
Please see the new thread here for updates regarding my service http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=45215
