    My question is....

does an eBay cookie reset itself if a user visits an eBay link once a day?

In other words.. if you visit eBay from my CJ link today and get the 7 day affiliate cookie. then you do the same thing the next day with the same type of link...will you get an updated cookie or will it only update after the original 7 days???

I run eBay links in my newsletter so a lot of users visit my links daily.

    thanks
    Jeff

It's 30 days since your last visit. Keep in mind, others can overwrite your cookie with their own though.

If you have a 30-day black out period, how do loyalty sites offer on a continous basis?

I think so, because if you send person "a" to ebay, another ebay affiliate sends the same person "a" to ebay after you, your cookie will get overwritten. So why wouldn't you be able to overwrite your own cookie? makes sense to me :D
