Good evening all! I've read through this forum alot during the past couple weeks, and it's been very helpful when learning about dropshipping and e-commerce. It has inspired me enough up until last week, when I decided to create my own store through Shopify using Oberlo. Behold, I present to you.. www.hatsncaps.org !! I've read through Yaris's journey in his thread and it's been very inspiring. I told myself when creating that " I should just follow his step all through". Which I didn't. I did not take a narrow niche (Well, not too narrow.). I'm focusing on caps and hats, but I'm also testing other items which I believe goes hand in hand with the style I'm looking for. I will take down collections over time. I've been trying to find the most popular product in each niche. There's many models and types of caps and hats, and I'm trying to work on a model which is to offer the customer 1 cheap, 1 mid-priced and 1 expensive product per product type. For the moment my products are not completely worked through, but I'll get there Most of my products are between 5-20 euros, where I am applying a 2x price. I'm also offering free worldwide shipping, and pay an extra dollar or two for a fast shipping with tracking number where applicable. After a week I've managed to conduct three sales. One to a good friend, another to a former colleague and a third that came in unexpectedly today after one of my friends shared my post. My first 'real' sale, so to speak I'm also sponsoring my Facebook updates, working on SEO and content (or, more learning on how it works), and trying to reach out with some narrowed facebook Ad's where i'm promoting my products. This is all very new to me so I'm happily learning from my mistakes. Appreciate all types of feedback, tips, links for reading, marketing tips, product/page reviews, tips from your own experiences, good luck wishes etc.. as you guys feel are appropriate to give! Thanks!
