Another Article Marketing Journal

Hello Guys/Girls,

I know that some of the members here are really sick and tired of journals but I can't start to work as I should, If I don't share my routine with you guys here on DP. I need to motivate myself because I got a lot of stuff happening here, so please be positive and help me out to achieve my goal which is btw 1000$ per month. I want to begin with a little less perhaps like 300$, so my first goal is to make 300$ till 20 May, I hope that I will succeed. I will post my everyday routine and I will tell you what I'm doing exactly so you can help me out. I forgot to tell you that I'm a newbie in article marketing (only made 2 sales from 10 article on Ezine without any backlinking).

I will try to rank my articles at first to see how's SEO's working and than I will built some landing pages.

Ok so here's my plan till Sunday (25.04.2010)

Wednesday - 21.04

Writing 5 articles and submit them to Ezine. (link them to my main article in Ezine and also put sum direct linking to the vendor's page with my domain ) I already got main article from the first 10 articles that I made my 2 sales with.

Thursday and Friday - 22/23.04

I will submit 5 of my 10 articles from Ezine to the following article direc. (Link them to my main one and also put direct linking to the vendor's page)

I'll try to make some forum posts and blog comments (I've never done this before but I'll try to do my best)

It's great that you're outlining each step in detail but I'm sure you'll still find get some flame posts due to the amazingly awesome negativity that can be found so often here on the DP forums.

As you've probably read a lot of people here will want some real stats when it comes to showing your earnings to see how well things are actually paying off for you. I hope that the thread doesn't get carried away because I absolutely love reading these journals as they give a lot of encouragement and motivation when you need it.

I'd actually advise you to take a look through some of the others and see if you can grab some of their tips and apply them to your methods, might help out!

Linking your other articles to the main one won't do the trick anymore..

It's just not enough to have them ranked.

Gosh, I am sick of so many journals up here that starts and never arrives to a conclusion. Their only purpose is to market their blog, upcoming ebook on how to make money with clickbank, etc. They are not even funny anymore.

 

Seriously why do so many people attempt to bash those who start journals and immediately say their motive is to promote a blog or product?

Do you not have a link to something you're attempting to promote in your signature? Don't I?

Just about every single person on the DP forums has something they are trying to promote discreetly whether it be via a thread or a simple signature link. We're all marketers here and we all know the game. So why try and attack individuals for doing the exact same thing that we all do?

People need to grow up and realize that we're all here for the purpose of learning how to make cash and also to do just that - make cash.

Whether you like or not these journals will more than likely continue to pop up and if it's really such a big issue to you here's a piece of advice - don't click on threads about journals and waste your time posting comments that will not make a damn bit of difference.

And no this isn't an attack that is aimed specifically at you, redrossero, it's toward everyone who seems to think anyone here cares about what they do and don't like. Nor does it matter. People need to learn to respect everyone and act professional rather than being negative and, to be blunt, ignorant and annoying.

Why you're linking to main and not product page directly ? You should consider linking to product page (landing page) rather than main page (homepage). It is wastage of time

You know what... we always see these journals from affiliates... I might start one on being a vendor... mixing getting your own sales with helping others promote you... hmm

Hope you the best man, start off with trying multiple products, find which one your converting best and stick to building on that. We are, unfortunatly, specialised to certain writing styles... granted I have a hair cutting site and a PE in the mix, but hey! Never said your personal niches will be related

Personally I work best when i'm busy, when I'm waiting on something I come to DP

Thanks for your response and support guys. Some of you here thinks that I will promote my blog later or my product but that's not true. I just want to motivate myself and get some help, maybe help the others in the process and learn from my mistakes. That's all I'm doing here. Time for writing the 5 articles for today, talk to you later.

Hey Guys just a quick question: Do you know some program when you put your article in and select one sentence from the article, above you will got different synonyms for the word of that sentence? I've used this kind of program and I find it very useful but I lost it and I do not know the name or how to find some similar program. Please help

You'd better start learning some working link building techniques for a start ..

Just linking them from various directories won't do the trick anymore ... since many of those articles don't ever get indexed, and lets say I was your competitor and had my article linked from 10 x PR 4 pages who would rank first?

Learning to build links multiple ways is going to play a huge factor in how well your articles rank. While linking back to your main article with other directories can provide a good back link it will not be enough to get you in a money position, per se.

You're going to have to expand and use other methods such as building blogs on sites like Blogger and Wordpress, make web 2.0 properties such as Hubpages and Squidoo, use social bookmarking and pinging to get your articles noticed and any other method you can find to put a useful link back to your articles.

 

Yeah I understand that I'll need to get backlinks from different sites, not just articles directories. However, I'm new with this so that's why I opened thread in first place (motivation and getting help). If you guys can help me find a free software for getting synonyms for the words in my article, I really need this, It saves me a lot of time.

Pinging, bookmarking, articles in different article directories , blogger/wordpress, hubpages, squidoo, blog commenting/forum posts/signatures... What else is there?

 

I don't think there are any free softwares that find synonyms for you that are actually any good. The Best Spinner is probably the best one but it's like $77 for the year.

Alternatively, you could just go to Thesaurus.com and put in any words that you need synonyms for and it will give you a nice list.
