Some nice designs there people! Thanks very much. I've just forwarded them to my client and I'll get back to you with feedback as soon as I have it!
To make it easier for my client (and me) to keep track of these logos I'm uploading them to one page for them to view - I'll put the feedback they give underneath each one (aswell as putting here) http://fontmedia.com.au/jeylan/logos.html
Just realised that I havent stated that this logo needs to be 100% vector - fully scalable. It will be used on all types on stationery and printed onto the side of a van etc. Apologies for missing that out - my head must have been in the clouds somewhere
OK feedback time! I've added what I've received so far to the web page with all the logos: http://fontmedia.com.au/jeylan/logos.html So far they've said weblazers is the best (not the circle) but I'm not sure that they've seen all of them... as I add feedback I'll post here with the link so that everyone gets to see all the feedback next to each logo - much easier to track and to see exactly what they're after
All feedback is now up to date for every design - I've uploaded it here: http://fontmedia.com.au/jeylan/logos.html Thanks everyone! Summary: "We like the idea of using the gears, the blues used in examples 9 & 10 (I've numbered each logo on the page above) appeal to us most PS there are some very talented people sending these to you!"
Summary: To try & guide a little more to what we are thinking we would like to see the font from example 2, using the letter shading from example 10, combined with the symbol in example 6… Also thinking the font from example 2, with the letter shading from example 10, & the symbol that is already being used in example 2 inside a circle or a gear… Thinking (hoping!) that would be getting us there… The numbers they are referring to are next to each of the logos here: http://fontmedia.com.au/jeylan/logos.html
