Another $40 Logo Contest - Payment via PayPal

OK... its logo competition number 2 now!

This is the requirements I've had from the client - dont feel as though you need to stick to this too rigidly though as they're happen to look at other ideas:

Edited to include full business name and slogan

• Business Name: Jeylan Services Pty Ltd
  
• Slogan: Innovative Engineering Solutions
  
• Business Type: Our company offers machinery maintenance & repair to the industrial industry, we are basically the solution for machinery & equipment breakdowns & servicing.
  
• Shape: Circle preffered
  
• Colour: dark blue with lighter blue & black
  
• Font Type: clean & direct, not too fancy
  
• Overall Desired Look: Professional

Payment of $40 will be made via PayPal as soon as a winner is chosen - I wont give an end time to this one as I want to see what we get through.

Feedback from client:

"I was immediately struck by the shape (I like the round circle) but my partner disliked it immediately (the whole design)

What didn’t appeal was:

The black & white (know it can be changed)
The red dot
The ‘v thing’ at the top
The ‘c’ that jumped out at us
The font used for Jeylan was not bold enough for what my partner would like
We are not convinced we need the business name in the logo itself if it is going to be beside our name…"

thanks xaralee... I quite like that one! I'll try and get feedback for you asap but my client has just finished work so it may be a while yet. As soon as I have it though I'll let you know.

Hey weblazer you're good at this logo gig aren't you?!! I really like the bottom one but as my clients like the circle thing they may prefer the top one?! Who knows! I'm sending these straight to my client and am hoping that they check their emails during the evening (we're in Austrlalia). Either way I'll get the feedback to you as soon as I have it.
