Wow looks like anon is a robot after backlinks. @LeopardAt1 sorry i am noob at phpld . Actually too much time consuming if u would ask me ask Siteexpress he will tell yaa.
I'm quite new to the directory industry and have purchased 4 phpld licences, one @ 75 to remove the phpld link. I also purchased for $10 the v3 forum support. I've posted a couple of questions for help on the phpld forums which weren't answered. All the mod enquiries seemed to forward to a site where I paid a further $10 to subscribe to a mod vault. If the v3 forum was free I'd accept this, but to pay for a support service which doesn't really exist is really unacceptable.
Ok when i fly back to india tell me where u live will come there, long time since i ridden pulsar too
I know what ya mean .. wanna again make me meet with an accident? This time we both will break 1 leg and an arm each! Make sure you get ur insurance done!
Dude its not hard to drive carefully is it ? Instead of trying to michel shoemaker (gawd how u spell that guys name) on bike u can go slow like the guy u see on top left corner of http://www.dmoz-resources.com/zone/ . Plus i think i liked Enfield
Hope this will settle soon. Wish you all the best guys. If this brings out a newer and better script. Anon: I never used your script.. (I only have one dir that runs on phpLD) But I have seen David tell on phpLD to use your mod... There could be differences but hope you guys will forget the bad and just remember the good things you guys gave us. (for the directory owners) Wish you good luck in your future plans.
Anon, has gave me great support and that why i use the script phpLD. Paying the 10$ for the upgrade support was useless. JMHO! With the lack of support, I had to go use another script(esyndicate) and the support there was great. I like esyndicate but i have a problem with submission otherwise its worth its weight in gold such as phpLD. Anyway, the reason why I'm added my opinions on both script..is that with anon knowledge and great drive his script would be topnotch! Very untouchable!
Aah my experience with phpld support is almost same as yours and my experience with esyndicate support is totally crappy than urs. Plus esy. has a small bug which lots of guys have not noticed but hopefully esyindcate will fix it. But i agree $10 i think does not help much with support for phpld.
I always new some show would knock 'American Idol' off the top of the ratings but it really is a surprise that this 'crap show has done so well' Just shows what I know about ratings not a lot
Ahhh your typical ass-kissing and gang bang! Nothing better to do than air dirty laundry in public - even after a previous thread has been closed.
The only thing that I want to say: !!Phpld is becoming very expensive!! Why? Mods and Templates are created by a third party. For example: suggest a category, contactus (now included) and other BASIC mods are not included in the scripts. We have to buy at an extra cost. If someone creates a new mod -- Why not go to that person and buy the rights to include it in the scripts or make an agreement between the parties instead of buying each mod and installing them again and again everytime there is new version and not to mention the "templates". There is money to be make in the "MOD" and "TEMPLATES" area. It is the way phpld wants to do business with us. There is a better way to satisfy customers according to their needs, but is a responsibility that PHPLD has to take and it is now And probably we should not be having this problem. In conclusion: Let's keep phpld as used to be or We might start searching a better option.
How is this any different than most scripts? A whole industry has sprouted out of Wordpress doing the exact same thing and last time I checked it was still one of the more popular scripts ever written. The only reason this is becoming an issue for some is because of the usage of PHPLD has grown immensely and now the only way to stand out in this huge crowd is to offer features not normally available, hence the growing Mod and custom template market. Would it be nice if PHPLD included all these new features? Sure but I am sure their main concern is providing as many features as possible but still being able to keep it manageable on the support end (which is already being called into question by some). And I am sure even if PHPLD included all these neat little features, an0n and others would still be coming up with other must have Mods so where would it end?
