Hello all , you guys must be thinking if anon is gonaa leave phpld and stop supporting it ? Well since this thread might get locked like other as it might turn into soap opera, so if anyone is interested i think anon has agreed to answer at
    http://www.dmoz-resources.com/zone/showthread.php?t=318

Shocking but true seems like phpldtemplates.com has been sold of cause of the direction phpld has taken all the sudden. Not sure what actually happened but i think these are going to be the hottest threads on any forums ;)

j/w why that thread was closed. After all this is a forum and discussions like those are valuable. I also really think SiteExpress should have been free to say his thoughts and read everyones response, without having the thread be closed.

That thread also opened up a lot of issues that the phpLD community should care about. Issues that I think can be dealt with.

I agree, and was actually quite shocked to say the last. There are many many many truths to be told, but as always i digress, because although I will have my say, support is more important than drama.

Don't worry, just about every other thread in regards to PHPLD lately seems to end up either giving love to anon or bashing Dave. I am sure all issues will soon see the light of day on both fronts whether we want them to or not.

I agree, lets keep it all friendly here.

But i wanted to know if rob will support phpld or not , and i guessing from his post on forum he will. So thats good stuff and also confirmed that phpldtemplates.com got sold off, i just missed the sale though :(

Let me ask u this david, will it change anything for PHPLD after these threads? Has phpld era ended or u guys will try to improve it ?

I spoke with rob at length.
The support phpLD provides will be continuous on the phpLD forum as it is every day.
I believe rob will continue to help his customers.

Has anon said "NO" till today for anything? The dude even has voice chats with people to explain something if they need a help.

Anon has always been providing support and I am 100% sure he will. And even if he decides no not to support anyone or phpld related sites for that matter, will anyones attitude change for him?

He has given his best and gives all his time to help us, can anyone forget his hard work and stop loving him? :)

Strange that you used that word, are the users of phpld not your customers also ? Why only one guy be responsible for phpld ? I would have felt better if you would have used " I believe rob will continue to help phpld customers.. That includes his which are in return your customers also and hence making them phpld customers.

@humm he always says "NO noobie" to me . :) bad anon bad :)

I think that depends on the issue that needs support. I don't think David or any of the phpLD support staff has any obligation to help a customer install any mod that is not associated with them.

thats because I *can* support and don't have to ask anyone for answers. ;)

you know it's immediate and i wont have to 'get back to you'

    hahaha

Someone does NOT have to be a client of mine.

I have always provided unconditional support for the users of the script.
    Try doing a search.

An0n is making $$$$ off of his phpLD customers, it is his best interest to do so and he has benefited a lot from phpLD. In my opinion, I think he should start his own directory scripts and stop whining about phpLD or to David then that should lessen the drama.

I agree but what about the bugs that are exists ? You wana look at my admin panel of version 2.0 especially the featured links area? You would be like how the hell paidhosting manages that mess ? Have not used anyones mod either just pure simple 2.0 , would david help me out fix all the mess or help me upgrade to newer version ? Cause last time i asked he was unable to help me out. And i had to start www.sbclansite.com from scratch. David knows what i am talking about he also has the DB i provided him.

    @SasaVtec yup or that lol.
