paypal sent me this and i have done all the things they asked but will take 2 weeks for the letter with my confirmation PIN to arrive at my home address.

    my question is:
i will be over this limit in 4 days as payment will be coming in for various sites etc, i'm not bothered about sending, but will i still be able to receive monies?

Any help greatly appreciated & thanks in advance!

Sorry, you're right. In that case I think you would still be able to receive the payment(s).

You have normal account, right? Hate this crap limits with paypal...they make it harder everywhere you go...I'm really sick of this. It's a nightmare doing business with them...

One thing about payment processors. It is best to give them a call on the phone and let them know what you are doing. You know kinda give them a heads up on what you are selling and what type of business you have. If you know you are going to be having a surge of payments coming in let them know that as well. This can help prevent a lot of problems with accounts. Try to talk with someone in the loss and prevention department. Also get a contact in that department that you can call back. Develop a relationship with these people. You will find that they will be able to help you better.

I never knew they had an annual receiving limit as well!

Restrictions and restrictions....I wonder how many such craps are there, up their sleeves?

It is kinda strange, but even though restriction is due to annual receiving limit, OP would be able to receive the money...I guess!

@shadowwalker i did call them to explain that their website wouldn't allow me to send the letter with the PIN to my address because there is an error on the site... she was in an indian callcentre and thought i wanted to change my address then said the reason the website wouldn't work was because i wasn't at my home address (not got the internet there) - KNIGHTMARE! - but sorted i'm awaiting the letter in 2 weeks - now my account access is limited as i have gone over the limit. ARGH!
