Annoying bluescreen issue on windows 7

    Hi,

Lately my computer has been crashing. The problem that results is the blue screen, as shown below:

There are two files that 'help describe the problem'.

I have absolutely no idea what those files are. What's causing the bluescreen to happen? Just those files?

What should I do? Delete them? Or would that cause loss of data?

Has anyone else had this sort of blue screen problem? If so, what should be done to fix it?

First of all you need to check few things...

Are you sure that's not a virus of some kind? Update your antivirus and run a full computer scan.

    Any recent installed programs?

    Drivers up to date?

What bigger change you have made to computer in the past time?

If everything else fails, install TuneUp Utilites. Great program.

If that does not help I'd suggest you do a quick reinstall. Great thing about reinstalling windows 7 is that it let's you keep previous windows files so you will not lose any data.

Ive had my alienware laptop 3 years ago installed with Windows 7 . Until now still runs like a beast. No blue screen so far.

I would backup all files (if you can). Do a restoration. Make sure you unplug all usb devices from your computer. Then do a test after the reinstall. DO NOT install any kind of software other than the default. Do some test and let your computer run all day. Remember when that blue screen is happening (time) then take a note. If its runs couple of days without blue screen then it was a software issue. If blue screen still persist then it can be ruled out to be a hardware issue (memory, hard drive, cpu).

Thank you for all your suggestions. That is very helpful.

    Might be a program installed.
