The Backlinks plugin draws a graph that shows how your number of backlinks develop over time. You can find it here: http://gdymov.com/inbound-links-backlinks-wordpress-plugin/ I think you'll find t useful if you're interested in Blog SEO. I'll be very grateful for your input and feedback. BTW, nice forum!
Very good , I personally use backlinks very often. I haven’t tried it yet on my WP but I will install it and see how it handles.
thanx, I use it on 4 blogs and it works fine...I wrote it since I never managed to write down my number of backlinks and thus I was unable to see how they develop...Now I'm a bit happier
I've updated the plugin to work with early versions of PHP & blogs installed in subdirs, you can dowload it on my page http://gdymov.com/inbound-links-backlinks-wordpress-plugin/ as before
I had big trouble installing this plugin. I FTPed the zip file to my server. logged in via SSH and unzipped it. But the plugin did not show under "Plugins" in WordPress. Took me some time to notice that the ZIP file contains incorrect file permissions. When unzipped under Unix, it will create files and directories without read permission for "others". Therefore Web server did not see the plugin, because it could not read its files. You might want to fix this. After fixind the permissions on all files manually, the plugin started working.
Michau: I'm on a Windows box and have no access to *nix systems, so unfortunately I can't fix it, but Thanks for the remark though, I'll add it to the install instructions.
What ZIP program are you using to prepare the ZIP archive? I have made several ZIP files under Windows, and they uncompress under Unix just fine. Must be the specific program you use that is making trouble.
