seo daddy - I'm well aware of the other contest, that's why we chose ours to be 30 days as opposed to several months. This is more of a "speed" compeition, so the results will be fun to analyze!

Also, we have quite the contestant base..so nothing to worry about =D

Mama didn’t raise no fool, so in order to become and remain eligible, your new site/blog must have a link back to this contest post. It can also be in the form of a banner (which is being designed right now, and I’ll post it later).

 

That's actually a great idea. I'm sure there will be a lot of takers for this. It will be interesting to see who can use the tactics to win.

Next time you should make it more interesting by offering an entrance fee and the winner gets the total (if that's legal, I dont know)

Hey guys! Great questions and feedback, and here are my responses:

Troy - Yeah, SEO Contests are fun, but without a little pizazz, they can get boring. Glad you like my wording there...hehe

Vitiare - You must have read my mind, because initially, that is how I wanted to run it. Two things stopped me though - the chance of having a lower turnout (as the newer people to SEO wouldn't bet real cash on something like that), and of course, the legalities of it!

Emirates - Thanks! Yeah, I can't promise that the niche will make any sense, as it's a keyword/keyphrase that returns zero results, which pretty much limits any real things. It will still be a blast though, and I can't wait to release it....!

SEO Daddy - It starts here at around 8:00 central, so that's like, 2:00 AM GMT. Glad you're entering!

Dude, it doesn't. Try putting quotes around it, as the contest states! That's how you find the keyphrase exactly.
