any reason for choosing a dot com over a dot co dot uk domain?

 

Not really. Personal preference really but would be interested to hear why you asked?

 

Personal preference mostly; if I were in the UK and building a resource targeting the UK market my choice would have been a dot co dot uk domain. I would also rather try to rank a co.uk domain in Google.co.uk than a dot com and would think it might be easier to possibly get a free listing the the Yahoo UK and Ireland directory with that extension as well. It just always seemed easier...

But you have a good domain name and should do well with it - best of luck with your project.

 

Fair point - I'll probably get the .co.uk too and see how i get on.
