Hello! Today I am listing one of my favourite sites up for sale.. To be honest I can sit here and give the explanation why but I don't think anyone would really be interested in that.

So let me cut to the chase and list what your getting and what needs to be done.

Firstly, you receive the domain animeseat.com the domain is registered at namecheap.com for another 7months.

The domain is PR4, and ranked 204,721. AnimeSeat has 3,880 pages currently indexed in Google.

The site has been running vbSeo, it was purchased for $149? or something around that mark, a few months ago. Most of you would know this product as it is a very well known and widely used product by most serious forum webmasters.. I will also pass this on (ofcourse it is a legitimate license)

The skins, two of the three skins are free. They have both of course been modified, and the current default skin we have god a lot of positive feedback on.. I consider it pretty user friendly and suits this scene. The other skin is from extremepixels which I'm afraid I can't pass on.

You will receive the back up of the vbsql db and also a full cp backup to extract everything onto your desktop.

You will receive hosting until Mid next month.

The site generally uses 5-8gigabytes of bandwith a month.. And has about 38-50 people online a day on average.

Welcome to our newest member, boonboy

The forum was pruned at 2000 members and came down to 400 actives a few months ago. The site has been live since 4th of August 2006 so it's not in any sandbox or anything of the sort.

Quite a bit of link building has been done for AnimeSeat and I think it has payed off, the community may not be big, but it is active and well everyone knows everyone. I think thats what really makes a community and thats what Ive always tried to achieve in any community I have owned or managed. My team of moderators will stay on, and I myself would be glad to keep running the place because some of the team may not stay if they knew owner ship had completely changed.. I can stay around for a few months and help run the place, give the new owner pointers.. Refer him to good affiliates, places to get the word out etc.

The only paid advertising for AnimeSeat has been http://chibifriends.com/social/coolsites.php and was only purchased 2-3 days ago, with a whole month go! So I'm pretty sure members will come and become more active as most people interested in these sort of sites also view anime or read manga.

The main attraction that has been out of the picture now for a month or two but is still attracting many members is the download section. There is no on server media to download, so we avoid any legal issues.. All the links are outsourced and we have an admin who is basically in charge of adding and removing links. There are approximately 1000+ downloads up at the moment with more to come.
The site has been networked within most of my sites (www.netiative.com) and will remain in the link network for another 6 months (ranging from PR2-6) (you have my word)

The site has the ability to bring in 5 times the traffic with only a month or two of updating, and an enthusiastic manager.
    Revenue Details:

Revenue generated by Google (1 banner on index) (text links on downloads & arcade, well intergrated)
Text links sold via private sales $15 for a month..
Google adsense has only generated 28$ in all the time it has been up, because this honestly has not been my focus for this forum, this is of course the focus for any website but I have quite a few others that are built for this scene. I always had a passion from when I was young for anime, and well I think this is my last venture. I slapped on adsense to just channel and see how much Google can bring in for this channel.. But I did not really try to optimize it completely or influence my members to click ads in any sort may it be placing, hinting etc.

Link sales are great, you do not have to keep any of the links currently up there besides the last 3 that will have to stay for a few months. The rest are affiliates who have helped channel traffic and my networked sites. You can definately sell each link for $15, 5-10 links, thats 75-150$ a month. If you can make more out of Google, thats a plus.
    Traffic Details:

Traffic is mainly through Google and affiliates, must not forget word of mouth.

    Wow.

Didn't I buy a lifetime link for "Anime DVDs" for $30 on December 17, 2006 ? Now, it's nowhere to be found on Animeseat.com .

Build a site, sell links, then get rid of the site.

    Nice.

What? It might have been moved when the new skinner added the skin, see, these ones where left on it (Scrabble Words New Anime Video SlotSearch Engine Optimisation) ... can you pass me your link over again so I can add it?

Also, it wont be sold unless it hits 1.5k... and ive mentioned in the sale they cant remove those links.

Misunderstanding, dont make me sound like something im not ..

I paid for a link on here as well and thats gone.

What are the chances that the new owner will just remove the links assuming you put them back on?
