Hey i have a anime site with like over 9000 episodes added already but im stumped on how to get the traffic. I see tons of anime sites that have alot of users on their sites but i dont understand how they get them. Any tips?
It really depends on various factors and etc. If you want more tips then it's really good if you at least tell the url so we can give more analysis.
To get more traffic,you need to work hard for it.Try all the ways you can try,including paid ways and free ways. It'll be a tough course for you to gain that much traffic.But it's really rewarding.

You should go to related niche forum and promote your site. Or if you have budget,you can buy ads using adw0rd.
Perhaps try some youtube work, easy to drive traffic in through youtube. I remember reading a couple of case studies on a website about a anime wallpaper website which did quite well (Alexa 50k). I think it might be marketinghub.info, im not 100% sure thought. In any case, try some banner advertising, youtube, sharing websites, seo. There is so much to do, you just need to apply yourself.
aside from the mentioned above, you can join anime community sites.. join the forums (actively) with your sites url, chat with anime lovers then convince them to visit your site, post blogs, submit articles regarding anime stuffs.. etc.. you can do it your self if you have time. but if you don't have, you can hire several to do these. The more people working, the more traffic. =)
spread the word around anime forums do link exchanges with other anime sites, promote your site to its niche,
With link exchanging and getting link, look at the type of anime site you're making. Some traffic wants information and legal media while others what manga readers and illegal streaming.
