Anime Site - 28,000 Members - High Traffic / Income

Overview:

AnimeMangaFun is an online anime streaming / online manga reader resource site,

The website is only around 2 months old But has nearly 30,000 Members!

History:

The transaction of the site was handled in such a bad manner I have kind of taken interest in another site.

The sites streaming & online reader were deleted by the previous coder as he was unpaid,

On the day of purchase the site was wiped, lucky I made a backup from the server it was hosted on.


What I have done to the site:

Code:

Streaming - re-coded, (Cost $300) These sections are currently being filled.

The past week I have downloaded and converted around 50GIG of anime.

Online Reader - re-coded, (Cost $300) These sections are currently being filled.
Over 380 series of manga will be uploaded.

The site also has a custom backend to download anime / manga and to convert the anime from avi/ogg/mp4 to .flv flash.

I have fixed some issues with the main site as the main site is custom coded, There are a few little things here and there that I will fix if the price is right.

I have also purchased a script ($89) to open a downloads section where you can charge users say $5 - $10 a month for access to download anime / manga.

This would bring in extra income

Forums:

I Updated / Revamped the forums.

I have purchased a vbSEO License ($149) for the forum, I will also install / setup thsi before sale.

I am yet to setup advertising but I think they will easily do around $5+ a day with google adsense.

Donations:

The site has also had about $40 in donations the past week.

Advertising:

I have yet to do any advertising But I have had the website approved to ValueClickMedia (FastClick) which is currently doing around $20 a day.

I have teamed up with a major sub group that will in return for server space release there anime episodes with animemangafun advertised.

I have also recieved discounted pricing from major anime sites to advertise this site.

If you advertised this site you would easily make 10x what the site is making now.

The site will have SEO work completed for Watch Anime Online & Read Manga Online before sale.

Traffic:

3,500 - 4,000 Uniques per day
direct type in & google search

Server:

The site is currently setup on 2 servers which host alot of my other sites,
You can easily host this website on an unmetered package from layeredtech or FDCservers ($159+ / month)

Income:

Break down per day, average.

I will not sell for less than $5,000 as I have spent over $1,000 in the past week on the site I also paid around $3,000 for the site but when I purchased the site it was in much need of repairs.

The site will also come with access to 4,000GIG of anime and around 380 series of manga which the backend script will download and convert with a click of a button.

Is the site 2 months old total or just 2 months since you purchased it? If it's the latter how long was it up and running with the original owner?

 

The site is just over 2 months old in total as I believe, to be honest I have not checked when the domain was registered but I was only provided 2 months of previous stats.

 

Well the domain is around 2 month old, so it should be.

 

Sorry if I sound dense but if the website is only 2 months old then how does it have nearly 30,000 members? Did they come while you owned the site or from the original owner?

I'm just trying to understand how a new site like yours gets so many members so quickly.

As stated above this site can easily be hosted on a unmetered server at the cost of around $159

any copyright issue? is all the material has right to redistribute?

 

I believe copywrite is only on anime which is on US titles.

but a DMCA would cover you on the site.
