    I'm selling sites I have for a while and simply had no time to attend.

    AnimEngine.com is a anime, media and images search engine I made.
    It's based on a licensed code (25$ license) with custom design and some code hacks and changes.

    Assume no traffic or revenue (there's minor traffic as I never promoted it).
    It integrates ads to the results and is quite nice.

    Bidding starts at 45$ (script + domain alone are 35$).
    Increments of 5$ and auction will end within 24 hours of the first bid placed.

    I got many questions via pm so I will answer them here:
    1. There's no need to update anything - the script scrapes live images and results in real time using latest XML APIs to some search engines.
    2. Script is licensed and changed so is unique in the sense of changes that have been made to it.

    It's really a steal at 45$ if you know how to market it.

    the images to teh left of the results don't seem to be working.

    you say it's scrapping so is it easy to add new sites to the engine? does it use a spider of sorts?

    Just tried the images and they work. I have an issue with my server so that might be the cause of the issue you see. The script scrapes alltheweb in real time and I guess you can add some more if you know how to code it in.

    Need to clear out the server so first one to Bid 40$ get it (the cost of the script + domain alone!).

    Hi,
    Yes it scrapes AllTheWeb that scrapes all major video share sites. Then posts back.
    It has a cache system built in.
    Resource - nothing at all - 10 mb space no db :)

    How does it filter out non-anime content? It seems to be getting anything.

    Yeh to be honest I didn't mod it to filter it out so you can use it as a generic search too :)
    But as folks come to look for Anime they will normally look got Anime words.

    I love the idea of a search engine for anime, but I want it to be focused. That would make it a unique site. I'll think about it, but that's an issue for me.

    But for that sum (less then the cost of the domain, graphics and script) it's really a steal.
    Simply need to clear up the server...
