    bah, you guys should check out "death note" for a good anime. not much action in it compared to naruto shippuden, bleach or the other top anime series but i think it would appeal to a bit older crowd that likes the whole "cat and mouse" plot going between the two main characters. that being said ill say death note is probably my favorite.. others include

    naruto shippuden
    fairy tail
    family guy
    blue exorcist
    HOTD (HAH! <~ must see)
    bleach
    american dad
    soul eater
    and one of my old favorites: the dragonball series

    my vote is for anime :p cartoons are alright though
