I want to build a blog on anime/manga. I also want to make a manga viewing page. This is what I am thinking of using. http://onlinemanga.freehostia.com/?page_id=20 (click on thumbnail) Would you, as manga readers prefer reading like this or you prefer proper manga reading scripts like onemanga.com ? Suggestions welcomed.
^^ Thats fine. The main thing am concerned is with viewing. How is it? I want my viewers to enjoy reading manga's without any kind of distractions.
I'm a bit skeptic about hosting your manga on a free hosting plan, since it can be pretty bandwidth consuming. And I know that, I used to own a manga-reading site =P
The lightbox is a nice touch but its too dependent on the size of the screen, which means that the image wont be at its full size to be read. I'm a skeptic about this since some of the letters are too small, but i guess if you full size your screen it shouldnt be a problem. I'm using resolution 1680x1050 and even at full screen its a tad small for my liking. Hmm I think you will need a true manga reader to see if they like it.
