Hi everyone! I was wondering if someone could be so kind as to explain to me a way to put an animated profile picture on my facebook account. I created a gif pic and saved it as a gif. It works perfectly if I open it with any browser but uploaded on my facebook does not show any animation. I would appreciate it if ou could help me. Thanks in advance regards
You can't. FB won't allow it, they do not allow animated profile pictures, and will either condense the gif to the first image, or just change it to a png or jpg instead when saving, I assume.
If I am not wrong, you can use short videos for facebook profile avatar. Just use facebook app on Android or IOS you can find that function.
I don't think you can add a video within the Facebook profile avatar. I've personally never tried this, but having said that, I have never see one either too.
Follow this video and you can have one. I am using video as my profile picture on my personal facebook account. If you can't do, just update your facebook app to newest version or maybe facebook doesn't allow it in your country I guess
