Yankees..that hype of Yankees vs. Joe Torre is enough to spur them to going..although I'd like the Angels to win it all in the name of their young pitcher that passed away..

I think that the yankees are going to take it home this year. I think that it is about time. Anytime that the yankees don't win it just because they spend so much on their players, is a huge disappointment.

I'd love to see the Angels pull it out, but unfortunately, it looks pretty clear the Yankees are going to run the table this year. They are clearly the best team left, but Philly could give them a run for their money. Sure hope so.

No, actually, it is the rivalry. I live a 1/2 hour outside Boston. born and raised a RedSox fan. Always hated the yankees.

As for bad memories, the only bad memory between the rivalry was the 2004 ALCS. And it was great for me. bad for Yankees fans everywhere. After that, it doesn't matter how many rings you bought, I mean, won. The fact is, if you are up 3 games to none, and you lose, it is just pathetic. :)

ESP WITH A PAYROLL AS HIGH AS THE YANKEES!

yeah word, rivera is pretty damn good.

but Trevor Hoffman from the San Diego Padres still holds the crown for most career saves. =]
