Has anyone seen the trailer for this movie? Check out: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0493464/ Basically, it looks like she's the ultimate badass fighter chick... Does it bug anyone else that a movie no longer needs a plot; instead just needs a curvaceous female to prove she can handle a firearm and kickbox? Sorry, just ranting, I can't stand films like this...
Its the Hollywood effect.. There probably is a plot its just that you were to busy watching Angelina.. who can blame you.. Angelina Jolie in anything.. or in nothing for that matter..
From my point of view, most movies dont have a plot and just run over almost the same story. Oly the firearms and special effects attract our attention. Sometimes other things as well
yeah, movies like this make me sick. I hate movies based on award winning comic books that are critically acclaimed for writing. How dare they.
Haha... I'm not into comics, so I don't know anything about that stuff... I'm just sick of movies that use boobs and bullets as the main draw, instead of a plot that makes a person think...
I think lots of people just want to be entertained and not have to think about to much when they go to see a movie.. I havent actually seen "Wanted" but if its based on a comic book I expect it to be over the top.. I think very few films have a good plot, most rely on "boobs and bullets" and special effects.. Is that bad? Studios are in the business of making money, That would lead me to think the majority of movie goers want "boobs and bullets".. Just my 2 cents of course..
Count me in for boobs and bullets. hell if there were a movie called Boobs and Bullets, it would probably be my favorite movie. I don't want to think. Life makes me think. I want to escape life. That is why I watch movies. I want to see cool stuff I can't see in my real life.
Every movie has a plot. All of you are focused on Angelina Jolie. Focus on the "supporting actors" as well and the plot begins to reveal itself.
Even if Angelina Jolie made a really bad movie, I'll still watch it Beowulf is another film she is in.
