Hi there, Does anyone know if Angela's or/and Paul's backlink packages are still of any use since penguin? I used them a couple of years ago and got fairly good results and was wondering if their techniques have been squashed since the last algo shift -Nicky
I think if you don't overuse them, they'll still be successfull. At the moment the biggest problem is lack of diversity in both sources of links (ie. mostly forums or blogs) and over-optimized anchor texts.
Thanks Lexy, I might give them a try then. I'm not looking for vast numbers of backlinks just a decent push to get new sites noticed.
It would work wonders if you could find relevant sources in Angela's/Paul's lists. Anchor text diversity is the key here.
