i used to have the htc dream running gogole android and i just got an iphone 3gs 32gb gota say, iphone better
A very detailed Feature by feature comparison, Android Froyo looks like a winner - iOS4 vs. Android 2.2 Froyo iOS iPhone OS introduced lots of features much later those too crippled.
I seems that Android has more compatibility and performance in being stable from the above mentioned review.
Android of course, because it is open source, it's not controlled by the Apple censor, it has countless ways that it can be improved and it isn't limited by the os. Iphone was a big hit and has better applications because the time it has been around, but that is not going to be for a long time. Android applications come up by the moment. Oh and you have a variety of phones that look cool not just one model
I use an iphone, but would prefer a droid without a pullout motorola keyboard. I wish google would in-house develop a device. Droid is better from my use of the device in testing. In US, AT&T vs. Verizon can also be an issue. Right now AT&T doesn't have a droid.
Nexus One. It's the device Google uses for development, and HTC is as close to a Google-developed phone as you'll get. I switched from an iPhone 3G to a Nexus One back in February and never looked back.
The iPhone is better quality than a Motorola Droid. The full package, the phone, apps, software, of the iphone is better than the Droid. I would prefer a Droid if google made the actual "phone" hardware. I trust google to make the right products. I don't trust Motorola against Apple, which is very effective in outsourcing.
the iPhone should be used by people whos viewpoints coinside with the RIAA and MPAA. that's all im going to say about it. I have a HTC dream, running android 1.6 i believe it is. I tried to access calendar? it refused to display basic date information without a data connection. I'll stick with my HTC universal / wm5. at least my phone functions without data access.
I would much prefer the Android. it seems sturdier, I like the pull-out keyboard, and it just looks like an all-around better phone.
I am torn. iPhones have a greater variety of apps and, generally, better apps. but the android has the gmail app which is much much better than the iphones email app, and one of the main features of these phones is email anywhere. tough choice!
At the moment definitely iphone, however in the future I think that Android will catch up and be completely valid alternative
