Android Smartphone or Windows Smartphone, which one should I get?

    Hi,

I am using Nokia smartphones from past few years. In India, the Windows mobiles and Android phones have less popularity when compared to the Nokia devices. However, in the recent times, Nokia is really losing its grip on the Indian and Asian market.

I would like to purchase a new powerful HTC smartphone. But I have no clue about which platform suits me well. I personally like Android, but I am wondering if Windows mobile suits me well!

    My preferences.

    1) Excellent browsing (flash), social networking, IM, Email.
    2) lots of great games.
    3) lots of apps,. easy to find, download and install.

Also please tell me which OS had more free games and apps available to download.

    Please suggest me.

Android - Go for the HTC Desire..fulfils all your requirements..just a bit pricey but one of my favourite phones. And if you have a really handsome budget and can wait, go for HTC Thunderbolt

If you want a windows phone, go for HTC Mozart which features the latest Windows 7 (mobile)

Sorry if I sound like an HTC salesman but I love their smartphones since the last two years. Going to get rid of my Nokia E71 soon

With so many apps around, the Android is much better than any existing Windows based mobile. Maybe in the future things will be different, especially after NOKIA+Microsoft giants produce their first Windows mobile, but till then Android is the best.
