Android or Droid?

    I overheard some people argue which was better. A Droid, or a Android? It seemed interesting to post about so here it is. A Droid was a specific at one time only offered through Verizon online. A Android is a system in which runs off of Droid. So, is a Droid, or an Android a better phone?

    Droid is a phone (hardware) that runs the Android operating system (which also runs on other things).

    Droid is simply a line of phones offered by Verizon that run Android, as previously stated by an above poster. I myself own an Atrix running Android 2.3.4.
