This is the first time I have ever used wordpress for anything but SEO. I have started a blog about Android devices (phones, tablets) for fun and would like some constructive critisism from those of you that have the time. Perhaps, just until you have gained a readership and gain a little rank in Google for free traffic, the space on the right bar can be better used to build a subscriber list, rather than offering ad space - at least while the site is still new. You could offer your readers an incentive, like a free ebook to help them learn more about Androits . In essence, use the space to personalize your message. For example, perhaps you want to write a little about you, or even put a movie clip with you speaking in this space or if not, a picture of your best buddy "Cat"... anything that gets your readers attention... Hope this helps
Thank you ... I was thinking about a video on the top right. The site is already getting a pretty good following with the 3 day analytics being 35, 131, 327 but I do think some of the ads would be better off the site until I get the traffic up enough to make them worth the space. One thing to note is the drop down categories on the sidebar which is not nice because it does not show the links until one hovers over it.Make it simple and it will be nice.I appreciate your custom theme.

I don't like your logo. You can launch a contest in the Contests section on DP and have a good logo designed. You can offer a prize of e.g. $25. I neither like your Wordpress theme. I would suggest you to buy one on themeforest.net or elegantthemes.com - they have nice & cheap themes. Or find a good-looking free WP theme somewhere.
Good looking site. Though with everything all the content jammed on the pages, I really felt lost. *I am very minimalistic, so take that with a grain of salt lol* But overall just add some finishing touches and you will be good to go.
Thank you for all of your input ... I will be looking at some themes to make the site a bit cleaner and after that time I will have a logo contest I think (i like the idea of seeing what others come up with)
