I saw iphone apps have a huge market, what do you think about android apps? Worth to invest to setup an apps and sell it online? Any member here has the same experience, mind sharing with us on where to find the resources and etc.

I was thinking iphone apps are big and android just started, I do see the market there. Please comments. Thanks

Creating or even investing in an app for the Android Os would definitely be a good idea.

I think the statistics show that Android is catching up and beating iOS on certain aspects.. It is open sourced.. less proprietary control.. a lot of device manufacturers are adopting it and create a lot of variants of the same OS... I can tell you.. apps in my store are selling..

Why not both? These are the only two major mobile platforms.. then BlackBerry.. Symbian..

If you have artistic skill.. then you have 80% of what it takes.. come up with a good game design.. the interaction and programming part is trivial... I know people from all walks of life coming into programming field.. you do need to know the limitation of the Android platform.. some games are entertaining on other platform.. but once ported to hand held device.. it is not playable... keep it simple.. screen is small.. interactions are limited.. if you can still make it entertaining.. then you have a winner..
