Say I launch a Android App on version 6, and now Android version 9 has arrived. Do I need to update this Android App of mine on Play Store for Android version 9?
Eventually you will, mine got pulled after 4 years because they were out of date. FWIW I completely rebuilt them with jasonette/jasonelle. quick and easy.
With the number of apps people have installed on their devices today, regular updates can help an app get more mindshare relative to other apps on a device. Releasing regular updates keeps an app top of mind because it will show up in the updates list like the App Store or Google Play Store.
It's a way of building apps using json feeds from your server or stored within the app. I've been impressed by what I've been able to create. They're not the answer to every requirement but will suit many. Ex: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nzpifmembersinfo&hl=en
