And Yet another PageRank Question

Ok so I have a few questions about Google's Page Rankings and SERP.

1) How often does Google update the rankings?


2) Does it truly help to list in thousands of directories to gain a better pagerank, I mean honestly, how are some of these newer sites able to achieve pr 4, 5, and 6 sites, when their just starting out? I think I may know the answer here, but it still plagues me to not know for sure.

2. Truly helps to be in directories just for the backlinks.

 

only number of backlinks decides your PR, more the links more PR
and every back link have different weightage and this depends on 2 factors
1. PR of the page where ur link is placed (More PR more weight)
2. total no of links place in that page (less links more weight)

SO TRY TO GET HIGH PR AND LOW PARKING PAGE BACK LINKS for getting high PR.

 

Earlier this year I got PR5 for a 4 week old site. Its all about the number of incoming links.

 

Exactly thats what i said.
