Anyone else have problems making sales in this niche on fridays, and saturdays? Over the passed 3 fridays I have not made a single sale. I am now pausing my PPC campaign from fridays to sunday.
I don't know... last week was a blip for me when I never sold anything all week. Prior to that, I sold one on the 28th june(sat) 4th july (fri) and 5th july(sat) and today, 18th july (fri). I don't have enough figures for any statistic relevance at this stage... it just might be your campaigns are not hitting the right target audience on fridays and saturdays... but attracting the right people at other times.
Yeah, it would be less people actively seeking information... but some people would use the time to do their research for new sources of information etc and then modify their trading strategy for the following week.
ACtually, sometimes that could be completely on the contrary regarding weekend sales! Yeah, the market does have somewhat a pull, as some traders just drop everything and spend their weekends with families and friends while the forex market is out until Australia's Market Open at 1900 GMT Sunday Night. But also realize, out of the pool for folks who are forex traders, there happens to be some diehards as well who just because the forex market closes off, doesn't mean their research doesn't. I have made sales on the weekends before, and sometimes, the weekends is the ONLY time some of these traders have, since they could be really busy looking at charts all day otherwise. Kinitex, it would probably be a wise thing to suspend PPC for weekends, being the case most traders probably just hang it up until the market opens again. If you have any other form of marketing initiatives, the occasional sale(s) can occur so do not cut out the weekend possibilities altogether. ANd for those who do not know what the heck I am talking about, here it is. The Forex Market Starts at the Beginning of the Sydney/New Zealand Market Session, which is Sunday Night 1900 GMT, and operates without a stop until the End of the US Market Session at 1900 GMT Friday Evening.
Ya my very first weekend on my forex campaign I had 1 sale saturday and 2 on sunday. However the pattern of adspend > sales on weekends is already starting to become more and more evident just going into my 4th weekend. None the less I have had 3 sales thus far in this current pay period. I am hoping to have an all time high this coming week and this payperiod combined.
Nice Kinitex! Keep up the awesome work! And as things evolve, you will tweak and find the best converting keywords and get a tight campaign to really captivate the forex niche, and maybe quite possibly the 10K Challenge?
Wow dude - I just noticed something - you didn't pause your campaign today and you have 4 sales so far today for my prod. hehe I bet you're re-strategizing your weekend campaigns now huh? Even though the markets close on the weekends, the sales do NOT stop. Many people use the weekends to get setup for the week, to do research, to grab new products/EA's etc. Don't think for one second that the market being open or closed will depict your sales - it's YOUR marketing that will depict that. Making four sales and the day is only half done should show you that the Forex enthusiasts are probably just as active if not moreso on weekends than during the week. Congrats to everyone that is in the challenge and making sales already! NC.
If anyone is joining the challenge it's still not late: we just finished up the works with our new sales page and a few affiliate materials. Check them out here: forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=934817 Good luck everyone, $10K is a huge step for everyone I think.
How is everybody doing on the Forex niche? Making any serious sales? Let me know what's up!!! Tom Howell The Forex Guy
Well, I just setup my own landing page yesterday :: Forex For Income Any advice would be stellar. This is my first clickbank experiment and my first affiliate marketing attempt, I'm a complete newb. ANY tips would be GREATLY appreciated. For now, I'm looking forward to making that first sale
I am in a travel related niche, and I also have noticed that Fridays are horrible, and I barley break even on Saturdays. I guess people are out partying!
Seems like things are slowing down here in the Forex Challenge? is someone having a tough time converting forex products? Who is determined to keep this fight going here? Who is looking to push themselves to a level, where they haven't been previously in internet marketing?
